Gradual Sharpness
Sometimes the reality is you are just in the messy goo of life.
In these moments your emotions might be running wild. You may feel overwhelmed by your own questioning. The self-doubt weighs on your chest.
You just don’t know where to turn. Your inner compass feel like its underwater.
The only choice you feel you have is to either panic or just reluctantly be with it.
To be with the uncertainty, the insecurities, the questioning.
Your mind has you spinning your wheels so fast you feel paralyzed by inaction.
And even though in these moments, when all you want to do is hide, return to what is comfortable and familiar, and ignore the giant list of tasks on your daily to-do list…
When you learn to PAUSE, and take another look, these are the moments you can shift the pattern by making a different choice entirely.
Its easy to want to keep pushing past what deep down needs your attention on an emotional level.
To make something happen just to avoid that feeling when nothing is happening or everything is a mess.
But the gold in these messy moments is the choice you make to SLOW DOWN and actually LISTEN to what is going on within. It's when you really start to pay attention to yourself.
These are the moments you honor your need for CLARITY even when there is little of that available.
By sitting a little while longer with your question.
Sitting in uncertainty takes courage.
It takes a willingness to, for the moment, admit that you do not know what will solve the problem or take the pain away.
When you are able to give yourself the TIME to BREATHE, GROUND, and CENTER there will be SPACE for you to feel a gradual sharpness emerge.
This is what we might call your inner guidance coming to the surface.
The part of you that deep down always knows what your next step is.
The part of you that is patient and wise enough to wait for clear insight to bubble up from within.
For CLARITY to arise.
Clarity and direction do not come well with force.
They arise as you touch deep into the realms of your BEING, here and now.
They are the results of giving space to the most precious (hard and pressing) questions you are in.
They are not the results of having found certainty.
They are impulses for change that ride on the flow of your consciousness.
But first, before you find your clarity and direction, you may need to wade through the messiness of your thoughts and emotions. You may realize you have competing commitments about what you want. You may need to face your fears with greater care, self-compassion, and love.
You may need to tend to the places within you that don’t quite feel ready for this change.
What do you feel emerging from within you?
What are you ready to trust in today?
What clarity do you seek?
May you find the clarity and direction you are looking for. May you feel held and sturdy by the choices you make. May you feel held by grace, always.
May you feel loved along the way.
Oceans of Love,
Andrea
