HEALING | EMBODIMENT | ENTREPRENEURSHIP | SPIRITUALITY
Sleepless Nights
I remember the day someone helped me see that I could actually live without panic. That I could work through anxiety and move my inner state from feeling completely overwhelmed to grounded, calm, clear.
This changed everything.
Healing is a spiral.
Breakdown to breakthrough moments reveal what you’ve outgrown and offer you a chance to create something entirely new.
When you feel like life has delivered too many blows to count and it feels like you are going backwards in time, there may be an important pattern at play trying to get your attention. This cycle may just be ready to break loose.
Unwanted Changes
If you feel your mind has not been able to stop spinning an endless race of stressful thoughts you may want to check in with your capacity for ground.
If you’re feeling anxious and ungrounded, it can be an opportunity to work with the breath and help stabilize the mind. To consciously and effectively work with the movement of wind in the body to redirect it to a more balanced flow within yourself.
In times of unruly change finding practices that help you ground and center are essential.
The Courage to Own What You Want
It was in this moment the course of the way I did business changed. I was able to see what was missing with someone else’s expert eyes on what I was doing. But the course shifted not just because I met a business coach for the first time, but because I committed to the process that was underway.
As a result of signing of for her group coaching program I met a community of people who got it, who saw me, who supported me, and who were on the same path.
Community as Healer
As creative entrepreneurs, we often grapple with a whirlwind of questions:
- What do I offer that truly matters?
- Who will resonate with what I do?
- Am I good enough to deliver this work?
- Will people choose to invest?
It’s all too easy to blur the lines between who you are and what you do, but here’s the truth: You are not your work. Your work is a vehicle for your purpose, but it is not your identity.
The Turning Point
Eight years ago, I faced a pivotal turning point in my life and career.
Despite doing what I loved for a living, I worked often with almost no time off which caused me to burn out on the work I loved to do.
I knew my passion was to be of service, to truly effect influential change in the lives of my clients, and I was working with clients I loved, but I still felt stretched across different business models that were not enabling me to truly thrive.
I was exhausted.
Healing Our Relationships
Being in conscious relationship means being aware of how power dynamics work between people.
If you feel challenged in your personal relationships, you might also notice that you face similar patterns in your client and work relationships.
One is often a reflection of the other.
Offering you a dynamic to pay attention to.
Reading for the Full Moon
Let this full moon glow fill you up.
You have been giving a lot.
Now it is time for you to renew and refuel.
Emotionally, energetically, spiritually, and physically.
Embracing Your Inner Process
Sometimes this means having the courage to simply show up with nothing more to say or give, and just grieve what is letting go with greater amounts of care and self-compassion.
Metamorphosis
You see it doesn’t matter what area of your life challenges you, your particular direction life, the evolution and curriculum you will undergo, that is unique to you will always be pointed out to you by your soul.
You will know it by what hands you the boon of ecstasy and the undercurrent of grief at the same time.
Gradual Sharpness
Clarity and direction do not come well with force.
They arise as you touch deep into the realms of your BEING, here and now.
They are the results of giving space to the most precious (hard and pressing) questions you are in.
Resilience Training
Meditation is a practice you build. It is resilience training. Through it you become a vessel for healing.
Meditation is a training ground for life. A vehicle for how you meet yourself, in light and in shadow, in depth and complexity.
Befriending Our Shadow
Often, when fear arises we recognize what is most true in our longing.
The most important phases of moving our creative work forward are the moments we experience the greatest resistance.
Over time, how we respond in these moments, shape who we become.
Finding Your Ideal Client
Over the years I have realized that for practitioners who want to offer in-depth healing and coaching work it is crucial in the development of your offers to be very clear about these two things:
Your Work’s Energetic Soul Blueprint
How Your Work Serves to Support a Specific Person
In the overall development of your business as a successful whole, it does not work to avoid this step.
Avoiding this step affects everything from your branding, marketing, and sales as well as your ability to sell your one to one work with confidence, clarity and zero ickiness.
Finding Stillness
Everything arises out of stillness . Within stillness is the origin of everything. The universe is stirred out of stillness. Yet so many of us either avoid or feel deprived of stillness, the ultimate elixir that nourishes. Contemplate for a moment what stillness could bring you in your life?
Stillness is a Point of Empowerment
Spiritual practice is resilience training. Sometimes guidance, the way of grace, is asking us to fall even deeper into the wound. The problem. The conflict. The fall reveals what isn’t working and dismantles the constructs in place that no longer support a way forward.
A Need to Heal
Your capacity to heal is immeasurable. There is no more ultimate journey than the one you can take inside yourself. As far as you can go inward, you can expand your life outward.
Healing the Money Wound
Truth be told
No one (who is a healer) wants to sell their work.
What we do want is to come into relationships that will heal and transform.
Transformation for ourselves, one another, our families and communities, the world.
That’s what we want
We want to change the world.
Unburden Yourself
Welcoming ourselves into the unknown isn’t easy. As human beings we are never as good at the letting go part as we’d like to be.
Letting go on a deeper level requires surrendering the need for control and trusting yourself in the unknown. It is a necessary part of the rebirthing process that leads to long term embodied change.
Birthplace for Change
When we are connected to the spirit of creativity in our lives, it opens us to deeper truths of why we are here and lends us a path into self-understanding.
When we have this awareness, we open the door to the capacity for real change.
